i'm watching eight women (not to be confused with 8 1/2 women, which i saw in italy and will forever think of as 'otto donne e mezza' with pachinko parlor sounds in the background). so adorable! i want the little girl in green, in my pocket. and oh the adorable songs.

interview next week at the harvard university press for the publicity associate opening. i'm very excited, yet trying to stay quiet---schlepping half a mile down garden street in interview clothes in this heat is not appealing.

Catherine Deneuve rocks my world. She's the fucking best, man. Am I correct in assuming that 8 women is on HBO on Demand right now? I thought I saw it there. I started watching Hysterical Blindness yesterday and wasn't really impressed. I was like, oh man, this is pretty...not good. And I like Uma Thurman (although only really in Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction) and especially Juliette Lewis. I guess I don't really like Juliette Lewis in movies so much, I just think she's one crazy chick as a person and I dig that. Her band is a big joke, it's so nuts.

Anyhow, I'm rambling.

I will keep my fingers crossed crossed crossed for you! I am sure you will do just fine.

Love you!

yeah, i saw hysterical blindness when it first premiered. it was okay, but ultimately it was the concept that was more interesting than its actual portrayal. but if 8 women is in on-demand, you *have* to watch it, miss in-love-with-frenchy. you'll love it.
