kirk's friend eric is in town to visit us this weekend! here is what we all did yesterday, in list form:

walk to johnny's bakery, find it closed
walk to mildred's cafe, find it too full
drive to junction cafe, have cheap diner food and "the world's best coffee" (debatable)
drive to salem, borrow quarters for the meter from the baobab man
go to harrison's comics, buy a fafi rollergirl!
walk around witchy salem stores, mourn the loss of our collective youth, when we would have all died to visit such shops
salem beerworks for lunch, yummy quesadilla and a sip of eric's watermelon beer (amazing)
return home - stop at the (closed) baobab store to leave two quarters wedged in his door in thanks
T into boston -- i went to derby practice, k & e went to panedemonium books & games and then walked to boston common from central square
home to dinner, rotisserie chicken, salad, macaronic salad, and sloe gin fizz
risk 2210, at which my red army KICKED ASS until we got too tired at 2am and declared a truce
