(no subject)

today is my birthday.
i am 27 years old.
apparently there are birthday surprises in the mail for me,
exciting. otherwise i am being very, very quiet and bored.
there is only so much birthdayness i can conjure up with a
broken ankle. oxycontin for everyone!

i did have a dream the other night about a boston terrier
named lucy. i never would have chosen this dog for myself,
but now that i dreamed of one, i can't help wanting her.
here she is:



i begged and i begged but i really don't think i will be
getting a puppy for my birthday. kirk left this morning for a
second interview for an awesome new job at the boston
conservatory of the arts. wish him luck!
