yes. also with eight zillion baby expenses and doctor things lately it feels like i am spending SO MUCH on myself i kind of winced at the thought of going to the salon.
recently, there was a traumatic cutting-my-own hair incident after i'd been to a stylist. that was fun! yours looks like it was a lot more controlled. mine ended up all over me, the floor, in the toilet, the hand basin... ;)
to be honest, this is after i'd swept all the bits on the counter into the sink, and it doesn't show the mess that ended up on the floor, too! ha. but also i have ridiculously thin hair, so there is very little when i do cut it.
there is something so cathartic about being covered with cut bits of hair and with scissors in my hand. and i admit i enjoyed the moment when kirk came home and was like, oh hi there what are you up to omg haircut!
