aslantmy brother was in a serious car accident last night, apparently. he is fine, thank god, but my nerves are somewhat shattered. i like to think of everyone as safe, no matter how many horrific plane crashes i envision for myself. the saab is totalled - a symbolic death more important to our joshua than to anyone else, i think.
(it is odd, to think of him being the subject of gossip at school, of possible newspaper articles, of cautionary tales.)
& oh. could this day be any more up-and-down. i want to go home and sleep. and maybe cry. maybe.
