they are so tiny! milou likes to sleep on top of the dvd player, where there is maybe three inches of space.
they are mortally afraid of the refridgerator, and the velcro on kirk's bag, but i can get them to lie down and get sleepy just by making little kissy noises at them.
(i'm such a mess over them, a complete cooing monster of a mushhead.)
i've been begging my mom to let me get a kitty since i've been home. but i suppose it's not that good of an idea being that i don't plan on being here that much longer. at least i have the kitties down the street to play with. one of them hides and won't come out until i come over and then she comes to sit on my lap. a bundle of purrs!!!
where'd you come up with the names, what're the origins/what do they mean/ did you even think about that? hehe.
pippa and milou are just names we made up (although i think pippa was a sock monkey in a magazine cartoon i read when i was younger?).
in italy, my signora's cats were identical and grey, and instead of using their names (sappho and circe), she would use a long string of words that rhymed, gattina grigina piccina mucchina (little cat, little grey one, little one, little cow). i just got used to cats with three names. pippa-petroushka-peppina. milou-milencka-millina.
so far, ours only growl (very occasionally) and squeak. i did catch milou purring once, but i don't think they've quite got the hang of getting petted yet.
growling kitties! hee. that's so so cute. i looked up the names and the only one i found was pippa, which is english for "one who loves horses", hee. funny idea, little kitty loving horses.
it's a pretty idea, and those are pretty names. kittens are fun. i'm glad you guys have those little guys around to play with.
Hi there! A few friends and i made a community called i_love_sings and we are inviting people to join. so i did a search under swings and your name popped up. if you would like to join stop by and check it out. if not it's understandable.
