oh no wait. i got it wrong. it's N and H. because now i remember thinking it might be 'neutral' and 'high'. but neutral and high what?
yay for the fixed phone. just as i was beginning to dread the inevitable nosy trip into vladas' room to steal the other phone. thank god i avoided that.
what in the world is gain amplification? yes, other stuff is noisy on H, now that you mention it. more staticky, too.
yay, i can finally hear my song!
i keep laughing at things you write, and the door to walsh bros is open next door, and jim thinks i'm laughing along with them. he watches me all day long. he's like a grandfather, a big bear of a guy. he's always here when i leave late. haha, little do they know what i'm really up to...
gain amplification, is... right - gain, is like... loosely, gain is volume. and amplification means more of it. so H is loud, and N is normal. probably.
I hope you still like it minus the radio stations.
I like that you laugh at things I write :) that makes me feel all good about myself.
haha - grinning. yes. but I can think of much better ways...
you do? would you be interested in learning about LFOs and oscillators, and envelopes and ADSR (synthesizer stuff)? nobody else is!
you're not juvenile. you're perfect.
I just had to find a serial number on this big box, and it was right inside it. I actually had to push the print head out of the way to get to it. maddening. that's french construction for you.
i get more lovely butterflies when you say that ;) i'm melting away, help...
[topic switch] coincidentally, this new book i'm reading is set in london, just like the last one. it's about violins and love. and hyde park. is that a real park or just a place? i think i need to get a map of london.
is it like central park in new york? i want to see hyde park. when they taught us english accents for theater we had to walk around saying some phrase about hyde park, i can't remember. park, said like pock. or similar.
your dad sounds only half-good to me. i'm angry at him for not taking you there. and now marrying this yvonne character. he doesn't sound like a good influence.

you'll have to explain that better some time. i want to know what gain is for real. not loosely :)
Re:
Date: 2001-08-09 07:22 am (UTC)I'm glad I make you happy, likewise. very happy. I grin like an idiot.
I will explain it better one day, but it needs me to draw diagrams and stuff.
Re:
