+ to speak to rosemary about asking for a raise, how the structural increase in nov works
+ to speak to liz/cece about looking at other jobs
+ to complete my resume updates, ask krista about being a reference
+ to really push the staff assistants' manual update project, to put it on resume as well

+ to keep walking to work this week, no matter the heat
+ to buy a pair of these shoes to keep at work. payless! so cute!

they're so lovely! i wish the pretty fabric on the insides was visible when walking around---some shoes are prettier off than on the feet.

Yes, once I saw a very cute pair of shoes, but then realized they would be so plain looking once my foot was in them and covering up the fabric on the bottom. I hate that. But the last thing I need is more shoes, so it worked out better that way. :)

oh, such cute shoes! my only fear is they might hurt, especially the heel, if they're made of cheap/fake leather.

i keep getting shoes for 50 cents at stoop sales or left out for free, which is pretty easy since i have a common shoe size, and then deciding they hurt too much or are hard to walk in. so they just clutter up my closet. it's quite silly.

i am looking forward to hearing how the quest for a raise/new job goes.

i actually tried a pair on the other day and i was surprised as how much give the heel had. the sides are more flexible than your average cheap shoe. i am particularly sensitive to narrow heels, and these seems very comfortable on the first try! a rare thing, for payless.

i will no doubt record the whole sordid saga here, i am going in to speak to rosemary (head of hr) in a moment.

um PLEASE get those shoes. I know *I* just did. ordered them from the website, in green. SO CUTE MY GOD.

i love payless. i used to go in there EVERY day without fail on my way to school when i lived in nyc, haha. there was one right on 14th street around the corner from my apartment. and i loved it. that payless is right next door (literally) to the wendy's where courtney love had that guy sucking on her nipple! haha.
