Mar. 8th, 2004 10:48 amworth mentioning: it snowed this morning. it's still snowing. there's about an inch or so on the lawn outside my window.
for lunch, i would like for my mother and her kitchen to materialize out of thin air so we can chat and make egg salad sandwiches on toasted pumpernickle bread, and there would be cape cod chips and cold water. and there would be weak sunlight coming in at the door so we'd open it up and let the cats wander in and out. later we'd run errands and then make an elaborate dinner involving lots of chopping and slicing. yes, please. as an alternative, i would settle for being allowed to go home early in order to go grocery shopping.
