• herald headline yesterday: CANDY CIGS LURE TEENS - BUTT FOES FUME. get it? fume? ha!


• a woman at the bus stop this morning calls on her hands-free phone, is saying, "hello! hello? hi!" loudly and staring into the middle distance. a very tall man brushes past her, annoyed, saying, "no, no, no" in a harassed voice, having taken her for a solicitor.


• i made a tiny book entitled "Concerning the Front Desk - or - How Elizabeth Rust has prevailed where others have merely muddled along" and gave it to liz the other day. i was inspired by sela ward is more attractive than shannen doherty on rebecky.com. liz blushed profusely.


• fondue party saturday night!


• k may let me do the typesetting/copyediting/design work for his upcoming chapbook exchange project.


• my hothouse piece is starting! amy emailed me some info about her image and it is sparking things in my brain. it sounds something like this: spark! spark!


• i dreamt last night about a tiny dog with one peg leg (with a wheel on the end) who later morphed into a mouse who i later inadvertantly killed by leaving ice cubes in his bag/house. sad dream, but cute dog/mouse. guinea pigs featured in this dream as well, and now i want a guinea pig.
