sea leavings

not pictured: a 12-inch fish skeleton, crab shells, razor clams, a single scallop shell, regular clams, dozens of seagulls, two mounted policeman, a handful of seawall fishermen, assorted adorable dogs and old folks and small children out walking as well, plus one marmalade cat in the neighborhood who studiously ignored us on the walk back.
