two new things:
  • we rearranged the entire living/study space. every piece of furniture was moved and dusted and vacuummed under, the carpet too. + all the books rearranged in their shelves. now we have lots more space! very satisfying.

  • yesterday we learned that mr krabs = brother justin! that clancy brown is one tricky fucker.

    mr. krabs

hilarious pirate-voiced money hoarding cartoon crab?

    or...

    brother justin crowe

harbinger of apocalypse, harvester of souls, disguised prophet of evil?

Not to mention = Rawhide from Buckaroo Banzai, = Hadley from Shawshank redemption and = Danziger in the ill-fated Earth2.

What a wonderful tidbit of information. The next thing you'll be telling me is that Squidward was a dancer in Escape from New York and narrated Bio-Dome, and that Patrick played Michael 'Dauber' Dybinski on Coach.

Or maybe you knew that already .

[kirk said he was also a villain in a highlander movie? which i've never seen (being a girl and all).]

ha! that's great. but we weren't all that intrigued by any of the other voice actors, just clancy el misterioso because he is such an evil fucker on carnivale and spongebob is our favorite cartoon standby for those sad, sad hours leading up to adult swim.

have you seen carnivale? it reminds me a lot of bradbury's "something wicked this way comes", which was one of my favorite books as a kid. it has that same emotional atmosphere. the first season was criticized as moving a little too slowly, but if you have the patience for it (which we did) the second season is just mind-blowingly creepy and rewarding.
