+ my GRE prep class begins tomorrow. i got my giant textbook and stack of flashcards in the mail last week.

+ i've been making it to the gym 3-4 days each week. i sweat like no other creature on earth. it draws looks in the gym hall. i challenge anyone to produce more sweat than i do.

+ because it is lighter than a book, i've been bringing the ds on the subway and playing advance wars: dual strike. it is incredibly addictive.

+ oops. we're about to have a fire drill. must run.

the first gre class session is a practice exam, i am more than a little scared. they use this exam score to measure our progress throughout the course, so there's still a tiny bit of pressure to do well.

i am a safety monitor for our office suite, we had a big safety monitor training thing last month and they gave us tasteful baseball caps with RADCLIFFE SAFETY MONITOR stitched across the front. i felt so silly wearing it. we're required to carry a clipboard of stuff around during drills, too. sigh. i'm sorry to hear about the asbestos in michie...the only consolation is that apparently the worse time to be exposed to it is when they're removing it. when it's sitting dormant in the walls there's relatively little of it floating around, thank god.

i hope i can keep up the gym thing, it's kind of nice. the fact that it perfectly fills the time gap between when i get out of work (4:30) and when i have to get on the train (5:45) to meet kirk makes it easier to keep going.
