Jan. 17th, 2006 09:59 amoh man. we have been watching rollergirls on a&e and i am obsessing and crushing a little bit on roller derby. the local league, boston derby dames claims to be training new players, too.
however, what i should really do is visit a rink and fall on my ass and remember what a crappy rollerskater i am. (at least, i think i am. i can't say i ever went into it wanting to knock people over or lap anyone on the track. but then, who does at 12 years old, when you're more concerned about who's looking at you and who's going with who during couples skate? hmm.)

Date: 2006-01-17 06:59 pm (UTC)kickball! that would be fun. i remember seeing dragonboat races at the rose festival when i was young -- so pretty! i hope you find a fun group, that sounds like such an ideal way to find a new group of friends.
