the snow storm is not quite over - it is heaped up in the windows, between the screen and the glass, as you can see. kirk brought me tiny daffodils yesterday and they were so pretty and bright today against the whiteness.

this was today's letterpress project - a business card of sorts, with my odd little colophon. i am in the middle of changing around the persnicket press website right now. perhaps this is the horse in front of the cart cart in front of the house (i always get that backwards), but we have some projects in the works, with letterpress covers & computer-set texts.

I love your printing, especially the ampersand and P's. I feel like it should be the road sign to somewhere fabulous, or the place in the road where you have to stop the car, get out, and look for flowers for five minutes before moving on again.

Hi. Can we be friends?

i am glad you like the colophon - i am proud of it :)

i will add you, you have a very interesting journal. what sends you to portland? i am from there (loosely), or my family is still in that area anyway.

I'm going to visit a dear friend who's at Reed College. We found cheap tickets ($200 round-trip from New York!) and I love wandering in Portland, and there will be flowers there when there aren't any here yet.
