from an alien maybe? there is a moment, when your dreams can go wrong, and you genuinely think they have happened. i read about it. have you ever had that? and people imagine something awful happening. nowadays. alien abduction. before, evil witches. once, dragons, maybe. he's a cynic.

before aliens everything was blamed on the fairies. where have they all gone? certainly not flown away into magic places. i don't like the idea of cold impersonal metal ships and scary pale creatures taking the place of impish and sly flying things that believe in beauty and magic and other good things.

i want to crawl away into victoriana and die.
