i made quiche for the first time tonight, in a new tart pan (with removable bottom!) that i bought especially for this. (okay, maybe also for other nefarious dessert purposes.) it was so simple, could easily be made in a regular pie crust if you add a few extra eggs. click click click for the full recipe at flickr.

Date: 2008-04-04 02:49 pm (UTC)i've never made jamie oliver's tart, i'll have to try it! and yes, that is the cookbook i have. i admit, i haven't gone looking in it for a while.
you don't like mushrooms!?! sad :( but understandable -- more for me! you know, this tart would be amazing with carmelized onions instead, or any number of things. i don't know that the mushrooms added any special flavor that's unreplaceable. do you have a tart tin?
