aslanti coaxed 16 screws into 4 window frames; i ironed 9 curtains; i hung and draped 9 curtains. our rooms are soft and hazy with muted light now.
some historic trolley tour stopped at the fire station across the street while i stood on the arm of the couch, screwdriver in hand and reaching into the corner of the frame, exposed to the world below. i must have looked like i was displaying an obscure yoga pose.
i am making a mix tape in praise of rain with running songs.
