ha. a few weeks ago,
i sent him a letter that said:

give me all my letters back.


he has not sent them, of course. i didn't not expect him to. i guess i don't even know if he saved them, i just imagine he did. & it saddens me. because my letters are so much of me. or. you know. yes, you know.

yes, i know. it's difficult, giving and then wishing to re-take. i began to photocopy, relentlessly, just in case i never got them back. but i started too late. some things are sent and uneraseable, now, unregainable.

paper and ink are more true; photocopies lie.

not that this stops anything.
