dreams that simmered. images like boiling oil, searing the form.

last night m came for dinner, which c was nervous about, tight timing. i went well, though, and we laughed about j's 97 theses to be nailed to the academy door. death to the infamy of inefficiency!

i had biked to the store around four for the last of the ingredients, got caught in the rain on the way back. i bought jasmine tea that comes in a golden box. pictoral instructions on how to make perfect tea (it says so).

also i made lemon squares for dessert. which makes me smile.

need to go for a run, get ready for the interview this afternoon. got to get it together.

my anger filters off slow. dissapates like steam on the boil.

mm. i have a tin of jasmine green tea that has a japanese painting of a monkey in some sorta lushy field on it. i think it possibly the most beautiful thing i own.
