Aug. 12th, 2005 03:48 pmi'm feeling a little bombed. after an hour of frustrating database manipulation, i was given the news that tool X is screwed up, behind schedule, and we're not being told why by the project team. tool X was supposed to do the majority of my job! well, at least it's not me misunderstanding the process, it's that nothing works right now. we have a $5M program that can't be bothered to do the most basic functions.
they say things like, "so far we haven't had any performance issues" when in fact that's because no one can do their work right now. that's like saying, my car runs great as long as i don't drive it! idiots. what do they have to gain by not giving us answers, other than saving face? it's absurd behavior. although, in my state of mind, i probably wouldn't be beneath throwing some rotten tomatoes at them. or stones. i can't be the only one --- so maybe they really do have something to lose if they tell us the truth.
