home again, jiggety jig
Aug. 11th, 2001 01:16 pmback on cambridge soil. in the copley library this morning an old gravelly voiced man walked by saying hello lady and made lots of hrmhrm noises constantly while reading. he picked the one broken chair in the entire (vast) room and ten minutes later the back fell off. he kept sitting there, hrm hrm, reading, hrm hrm, and was still there when i left.
i finished vikram seth's an equal music which ended sadly. but it is highly reccommended. beautiful lyric writing and it takes place in london and venice. when done i could not help but thinking i was julia, and antony was michael. also felt as if i'd recently had a tryst in venice.
instead i slept in my plain and empty bed last night, dreaming so very many unclarified dreams.
