we saw hitchiker's guide to the galaxy this afternoon -- it was funnier than i thought it would be, probably since i remembered so little of the books? (but also i think the trailers were very poorly done.) and i didn't know alan rickman was in it! i was thus unprepared to be madly attracted to a small, black and white, depressive robot. oh, that voice. i fluttered.

we saw it this weekend also and i was so surprised that i laughed constantly throughout the whole thing. also i LOVED marvin so much i couldn't believe it, too. i particularly swooned (and identified?) with lines like "i just talked to the computer. i don't think he likes me."
