oh god. one glass of white wine at a work lunch (the dean poured it for me! how could i say no?) and my hands are a little numb, my eyesight is a little off. that's what i get for not drinking anymore. i'm a cheap date, but i'm also a really really bad social-drink-at-noon employee.

because it was pretty hot yesterday, i immediately became headachy and felt sort of gross-tipsy. i went and hid in the cold basement, filing for over an hour, until it passed. i don't know why i never learn...mid-day drinking just doesn't work for me.

i haven't seen any videos in such a long time! apparently through our cable provider we can watch them online, or set up custom playlists (??) but i don't know which of the digital radio channels play beck. but i've been listening to guero practically nonstop while filing! i love it.
