kirk and i were married on sunday.
it was beautiful and ten million kinds of amazing.



we are honeymooning on the oregon coast, where everything is bright and grey and just cool enough to make you want a sweatshirt at the beach. life is such perfection right now, i can hardly believe it. but it's true.

I was sitting here, staring at the picture, thinking about your last year of entries leading up to the wedding, thinking about the first & last time I met you, thinking about my own future with L, gawking at the rings, thinking about what happiness it must be, thinking of the best way to congratulate you, & then I realized you're both naked in that picture, & that I reread the entry, saw the word honeymoon, & then I realized more thoroughly, "They're both naked in that picture."

Tell the truth.
Is that a post-coital honeymoon photo?

we're not naked in the photo!!! ha ha. we are victims of poor cropping. in the left corner you can almost see the strap of my shirt, and kirk never wears a shirt to bed, only flannel pants. haha. i didn't realize it looked quite so racy! i guess, since we are on the honeymoon, you can make your own inferences about the post-coital bliss :)

thank you!! we are so happy -- a lot of people told us it was the best wedding they'd been to in a long time. i made my high school ap english teacher cry, apparently :)
