my first tomato!
Aug. 15th, 2008 09:20 amit was 104° here yesterday, and will be again today, so this morning i went out to check the garden and turn on the soaker hoses. all week i've been eyeing the first cherry tomato on my sweet millions plant. it was the first tomato to fruit in the whole garden, and had been slowly turning orange.
well, this morning it was finally bright red, so i picked it. it was a sweet and tasty mouthful, and well worth the wait.
i can't wait until the other varieties start to ripen. yum.

Date: 2008-08-16 08:46 pm (UTC)the invitation process is so i can keep a cap on other people getting in, & because i'm looking at people who kind of have distinct voices of styles, based on lj &/or other writings.
the marketing process isn't...marketing per se, as it's not a product i want to sell. it's more like a thing or artifact i wish to bury, more like a game really. i'm amused by the idea of say...something like 6 of us writing some strange beast & burying a copy somewhere in alabama to potentially be found 100 years later, really really confused by what it is. but that's all cat 'n' mouse stuff i'll do on my own, unless other people feel compelled to help.
